Viciious does not yet offer drive emulation, but here’s a directory listing of the .d64 you dropped in. Choose a PRG and I can inject it into memory and boot it for you.

The program you launch will not be able to access the rest of the disk image.

The Beyond (English) Commodore 64 game

THE BEYOND is one of the few (probably the only) text adventures that I completed without any help or cheats.
The game is based on the eponymous Italian movie.

In this game you are walking near a hotel. This hotel is built on one of the 7 gates to hell. Your task is to find a way to close this gate before it is to late.

THE BEYOND is a Dutch game, written by Pim Nijdam and K. Bos. It was written in plain BASIC-2 and afterwards list-secured, but not compiled. I've broken the list-protection to see how it's put together.

Because the game is quite enjoyable to play (especially for a BASIC-2 program), but only for a select number of people who speak Dutch, I got the idea to translate it to English.
So here it is. Enjoy!
