SDI (1986) Amiga game
The plot of S.D.I. unfolds in an alternate reality in 2017 where the Soviet Union still exists and threatens the free world. The USA initiates a new Strategic Defense Initiative under the leadership of General Sloan McCormick. A radical Soviet group, comprised of KGB members, seizes control of space launch sites and begins launching nuclear missiles at America. McCormick, torn between duty and his love for a woman on the opposing side, pilots a space-based fighter to intercept enemy missiles. In addition to neutralizing threats, he must repair defense satellites, infiltrate enemy bases, and ultimately rescue his love and protect his nation and the world.
