Cross Force (NA) Atari 2600 game
Cross Force is a fast-paced action shooter developed by Spectravision and released for the Atari 2600 in 1982. The game introduces a unique twist to the classic space shooter genre by having the player control two laser cannons positioned at the top and bottom of the screen. Your mission is to defend a central target from waves of incoming enemies that attack from both sides of the screen.
The key challenge is coordinating the movement of your two cannons simultaneously while trying to destroy enemies as they approach. You must carefully aim and time your shots to hit the invaders before they can destroy the central target. The game grows more difficult as enemy waves become faster and more numerous, requiring quick reflexes and precision to keep your target safe.

Joystick Movement:
Move the joystick left or right to control the position of your two laser cannons (one at the top and one at the bottom of the screen). Both move in unison as you shift the joystick. -
Fire Button:
Press the fire button to shoot lasers from both cannons simultaneously, aiming to hit enemies approaching from either side.
